Debevoise & Plimpton LLP was founded in New York in 1931. To this day, the New York office, like the rest of the firm, remains committed to providing the finest legal services to the highest quality clientele and to fulfilling the duty of public service. Upholding the firm’s deeply rooted values, our clients continue to be highly respected industry leaders — and amongst major law firms in the city, our New York office consistently dedicates substantial resources to pro bono representation. The New York office, located in midtown Manhattan, is Debevoise’s largest office and the headquarters for the firm’s multi-disciplined, international practice. Today, this office is home to more than 450 lawyers concentrating in the areas of corporate, litigation, tax and trust and estates law. The Debevoise Plimpton team, comprised of the firm’s lawyers and friends thereof, went to the Level 2 Spring 2011 and Fall 2011 championship semifinals, both times as a #4 seed. Jon Lubin and Bradley Yale are co-captains of this Tier 2 team as it plays its seventh season in the Manhattan Roller Hockey League.
