After Josh Braunstein and Dan Gold led the Special Delivery team through its first six MRHL seasons, goalie Michael Hauptman took over as captain at the start of the Fall 2010 campaign. They played in the Fall of 2007 as the Tornadoes and were finalists in the league championship playoffs after finishing the regular season with a 6-4 record. They also had a 6-4 record in the Spring 2008 season and finished 6-2-1-1 during the Fall 2008 session.

Captain Michael Hauptman was awarded the MRHL’s Goaltending Excellence Award for the Fall 2010 regular season after finishing with the lowest league-wide Goals Against Average and Save Percentage.  The Tier 1 Special Delivery team will be starting its twelfth season in the Manhattan Roller Hockey League when the Spring 2013 campaign gets underway.
